random pc shutdowns
when i try to reinstall windows on my pc, it keeps shutting down every 2-3 minutes, giveing me no chance to reinstall.. and its not overheating.. and shuts down every 5-10 minutes normally.. like right now, browsing these forums.. what up? is it a virus??
memory leakage?
it's your destiny?
Naw, i'm pretty sure it's because of memory problems =)
check what type of Power Supply ur running in your tower..
i had that problem a while ago i had a pent 3 power box and im running a pent 4 >_>zzz
1st) something wrong with your cooler its probably not attached well. and ur processor is overheating and it shutsdown.
2nd) u may have overclocked your pc
3rd) your processor is dead.
hey guys, thanks for the suggestions, it was actually over heating, the cpu/heatsink w/e.. had to put some special gel/paste on the underside to help transfer the heat away.. when it over heats it usually beeps a few times after it shuts down.. it wasnt this time and i dont know why
Yeah, that's what I would suggest (I had the same problem), but you said it wasn't overheating... so I left.
I had the EXACT same problem. Dust started building between my fan causing it to slow down which over heated my PC. The PC has a built in thermometer that shuts down after certain temperatures. Just clean your fan out and possibly use insulation.
n00bs. ur gotta build ur own pc's
ive never had any problems with this pc, i had it for 2-3 years and not one problem, except the last video card i got, twas nvidia and they got a shit load of problems so i just got a ati and it works fine
