Yes, that is true. Outdated just means that a newer version of the same trainer has been released. It doesn't mean that it was patched. So they might still work.

Even some patched ones still work partially.

For instance, I use the lastest GMZ trainer because it has a working "anticheat" which keeps some old "detected" trainers from being detected. Mixing and matching some may bring success.

Yes still work but you get kicked from game a lot and it gives you a higher % of getting banned then an updated hack. Patched is doesn't work anymore. Detected is game might kick you or doesn't work right. Outdated is just there is a new updated version of the hack out.
