If you are playing on the official skyblock server I think you can buy some grass. I believe grass grows on its own so if you have dirt just place it and make a few runs over it until it becomes grass, or try putting some bonemeal on your dirt (idk if it works)

If you have already some grass on your skyblock, you could try to obtain tools with the silktouch enchantment. Then you could have as many grass blocks as you would like

yeah in my skyblock its on a cracked server so you cant buy things like grass or get enchanting tables
