Custom faces for Arma 2/DayZ

I recently found out how to do this and I thought I would share it with the community. You can have a lot of fun trolling people with these skins and also get a lot of people calling you a hacker.

Instructions:
1. Go here and find a face you would like to use from here: Arma2/Dayz Skins - Imgur
2. Save the one you would like to use.
3. Navigate to C:\Users\'current user'\Documents\ArmA2. Copy the picture of your choice in here and rename it to "face.jpg" (without the " of course) This is very important, and it will fail to work if you call it anything other than face.jpg
4. Open up DayZ in any way you use to. On the main menu select Player Profile and Edit. Click in the Face drop-down menu. Option number 4 (under Default Face) should now be Custom Face. Select this one.
5. Congratulations! You now look awesome!

This cannot get you Global Banned so go ahead and give it a try!

I think someone posted that here already. And some servers kick you for that or am I wrong?

it can be tough sometimes to find a server that will allow a custom file size larger than 0
(most will have MaxCustomFileSize = 0 in the arma2.cfg)

which sucks, because your exactly right about these being alot of fun and perfect for trolling

but there are deff. some servers that allow ppl to connect with a custom file (faces or custom sound), you just need to look around

Thanks for this. Time to go around trolling with a hatchet in elektro. I wont even use hacks to be a "hacker" this time!

Doesnt work for me. I downloaded the joker face and then named it face.jpeg and put it in my folder like you said and then the custom face option wont show up... how do i fix this?

It Does kick you out of most servers besides dayz.... no point really because the default faces are already funny enough..

maybe put face.jpg not face.jpeg
