Metabans.

Hello MPGH,

As a hacking vet. for some time, I am baffled by this. I caught a "Metaban" for suspicious stats on my account. I have just started my F-2000 service. I got 100 kills so far, and being a fairly well rounded player, I got around 12 headshots. I did some boosting with my friends and moved my head-shot ration to 79.9%. This means I have allot of head-shots vs. kills. It's a pretty good ratio, it even seems hacked. The ban states that i'm a cheater for suspicious stats, and its expiration is 10 years. I know PB is the security so I just forgot that server, and went to another. However, I am banned from what seems to be at least 90% of servers.

Do you guys know why this whole "Metabans" thing is suddenly doing PunkBusters job? Is their a way to cure it? Reset my stats may help? What did I do wrong exactly to them?

Wtf. I have 2000 headshots on my M98B with a 98% headshot ratio.
Why have I not been meta banned yet xD

i have no problems with metabns here in europe
just look for pbbans servers or ggc

Hello Guys,

MPGH just is the world of friends. You are a great community. The post above, inspired me to do some well thought research. It turns out here is what Metabans is.

1. A streaming service for administrators on all games.

2. Mostly streams itself to Cheat'O'Meter.

3. Bans skilled players from a selected group of servers. (This means that the OP from UK is correct. Any server that does not use Metabans, which is common, I can join. In my country, we don't have many Metaban users.)

4. Metabans is based on Admin decisions, meaning that since my stats on the F-2000 look godly, any of them have the right to permanently ban me from the Metabans servers.

I got into some servers last night no problem. I just got to reverse boost my stats down to play with the 11 year old administrators. Which in of itself is utter BS, if you ask me. The whole thing is really silly.
