c++ primer plus (5th edition) question

I recently got this book, haven't had a chance to sit down and start reading yet but i plan to soon

I was wondering if any of you guys have read the book and what kind of expectations i should have after i'm done reading ( What kind of things will i learn when i'm done)?

Any book will do really so whatever.

After you finish the book, you will have knowledge of C++. Whether you can use it or not, and how well is another question.

Just practice more and more.
