New LUA location for installing cheats.

Some users have reported being unable to load clientside lua files from their \steam\steamapps\username\garrysmod\garrysmod\lua folder. This is because of the recent 165 update that moved garrysmod over to steampipe. If this has happened to you and you have been getting errors like:

You likely have to use the new location \steam\steamapps\common\garrysmod\garrysmod\lua when loading clientside lua files AFTER running your favorite bypasser.

If you have steam and the games installed to your C: drive, this would be:
c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\garrysmod\garrysmod\l ua
(there is NO space in lua, for some reason whenever I write the folder it does that)

For some reason I dont have a gmod folder inside my common folder, only CSS

Then this likely doesn't effect you. I'm on 165 as well and don't have this folder, but some seem to and have to now place the Lua files there.

edit: The map changed and again not this problem but shows for the bluebot_menu unknown command...

You have to reload the cheat every map change and every time you connect to a server.

No. Used to be:
c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\garrysmod\garrysmod \lua

You would be surprised (or not) how many people missed this small change as it has only happened for some users.

I thing you're missing the "common" part in the string. It no longer resides under your Username where most of the guides tell you to place the .lua

My folder hasn't moved and it still gives me the error. IT actually kicks me every time i try to load up a cheat for 'too many lua errors'

If you were getting the error mentioned in the first post, you wouldn't be getting a too many lua errors message as the lua wouldn't have loaded an you would have only got one error. This is a separate issue. If you want help, post the actual error messages.
