Forums secret/hidden section

Recently i have been lurking around a forum of a server i play. Recently a guy got banned for hacking into a section of the forum he wasnt supposed to have access to( admin lounge) Does anyone know how to gain access in these sub-forums? Thanks in advance.

Probably using an HTML injector /

If he broke into the code of the site he could have done much more than just gaining access to a forum tho

Maybe with a bit of SE..he may have ratted one of the admins?

It really depends. Do you actually know the guy who got banned? Maybe he got banned for something else and got a rage ban from an admin that said that he hacked a board.

It is also possible that he found out an exploit to the forum system? But... as Youtro said, if he had done so, he could have done much more so I doubt it.

In matter of fact i witnessed it, because i want to the "online now" subsection and he was at the admin lounge. So since the admin lounge is visible (but without a working link to redirect) i just tried to change the subforum id to sometime get access to the forum, and when i think i did, it said i have no access to it and it didnt let me enter it.

Have no idea but that may be interesting here
