Hey guys so basically im on page 42 of this book -

And i am using notepad ++ for this and i put the code in and saved it as a .cpp and then when i put it in my compiler which is codeblock i click compile current file and it doesnt do anything? I put the code in Visual Studio 2012 and i get like 8 errors can someone help?

why don't you just use visual studio instead of notepad++
What are the errors in the first place?
