Bots

I have been watching a lot of videos of rotmg bots. This has sparked an interest of my own. I want to create a bot similar to the spam bots you see in the nexus but for fun and messing around. The only problem I have is.... I have no experience with flash. However, I do have experience with creating injection bots for runescape (if this is at all similar). I was hoping that someone could give me a bit of direction and support. What I really need is for someone to tell me where to start. All constructive comments are appreciated. Thanks

To create a spam bot, you don't need to learn flash. In fact, I'm pretty sure no spam bots are coded n flash.
Depends what language you are coding with, but with anything .NET, you can use the SendKeys class to send keys to a window. That's just basic though, you can also create clientless bots that will just connect with the bare minimum and spam using packets which is by far the best way to do it, but way more advanced.

What do you mean by creating "injection bots"?

Injection is a method of modifying the game client so that you can access classes and gather data. Since classes are obfuscated you have to identify which classes are which so you know what data to grab. I have never heard of it being used outside of runescape so I doubt is is any help here. I will look into C#. Are you able to view the classes and data in the .swf file while it is running with C#.

You could do it with any language that supports injection, so yes C#.

I know that you mentioned packets. Would it be efficient to sniff and send packets so that a client does not have to be running?

You re-create a client.
You make a program that creates a socket to send/receive to a server, example being USNW, then initiate a client instance essentially.
You send the packets and respond to the ones sent to you such as map, character info etc. The ones you send would be the ones required to join the game such as account, moving, chat, etc. I'm no good at this though, i'm trying to learn it too, but @eth0nic, @DatCoder, or @Botmaker will surely help you.
