Finally

This Thursday, i am finally getting contacts after waiting 6 or more years! i can finally afford them xD
i am so freaking excited.. I hate wearing glasses so much

My friend told me to not wear them at work for the first time because they will bug the crap out of my eyes but when i was at the eye doctor i could barely even feel them in my eyes.. do they get worse over time?

and gah damn it was a pain getting them in and out.. took me a few tries

Contacts suck shit.
They make your eyes feel super fucked up.

I can see without my glasses, but I feel uncomfortable without them

I can see clearly, but I have glasses because my mom said so. So, I've been wearing them for the last 6 years and I've grown use to them.

That's really strange. The optometrist would have noticed you have normal vision.

One of my eyes is 10/20 and can only see things close, other eye is 20/20 and can only see things far.

It really depends on your eyes' shape, contact brand, and solution used.

I wear Acuvue Oasys contacts, specifically for my astigmatism. Unless you rub your eyes or are working with or around a lot of airborne particles, you should be fine. Even then, I'd just keep a spare container and solution in my truck.

everyday on pc and still don need glass but good luck with that

Just get a new pair of glasses that look hot instead of lenses.
Saves you time.

Meh I think glasses are better. Mainly cause they're easy to take off and put on, and some glasses actually make you look better or smarter or w.e.

I'm getting contacts too, but I'm only using them when I play sports.

If you got astigmatism or football eye you should check up on ortho-k. They actually retard the degeneration of the cornea whilst improving your vision without having to wear contacts during the day.

I own a pair of ortho-k lenses, just put them in when I go to sleep, take them out in the morning and clean them and I have beyond 20/20 acuity during the day.

and i have been wanting Contacts for so long now.. i hate glasses and makes me look like a dork, i look completely different without my glasses

with glasses, the only picture i could find with me in them because i hate taking pictures with them on
