Lua Help

Hey I was downloading lua hacks when suddenly it stopped working. I don't know what happened. When I save a notepad file to .lua it doesn't save as a lua file. I don't know what to do.

I use notepad ++ to save as .lua, try that

sorry im kinda a noob. but how do I get notepad ++?
