i just got a iphone 3g and when i connect to my pc with win 8 it says usb device not recognized
i want to upgrade to 4.2.1 cuz it is on 4.1
please help me

nothing bad should happen from my experience if all else fails try it

Also got the iPhone 3G. Try installing iTunes again. Also I'd reccomen you to go for iOS 3.1.3 as the 4.2.1 is complete bullshit.
