I understand there is this new way to reverse revoke? Is it true?

Yes there is ive seen it happen lately like scams.If someone says they will give u nx and u give them your account name and pass.But if they change the unfo you can be smart and put 2 emails on the account and retrieve from the 1 you didnt tell the scammer @Blisskilla
