Question about serverside debuffs
I was just wondering, what does the serverside debuff hack actually do? Does it simply block sending playerhit and grounddamage packets that would afflict the player with a negative status effect? Also, if this is the case, won't the server kick you after you don't send enough of these packets?
I think the reason it works is that the server never checks to see what debuffs the projectile should have had when doing it's predictions on whether the player has been hit. The server seems only concerned about damage in such cases.

As such blocking the playerhit packet effectively eliminates debuffs. The reason we don't get kicked right away would probably have to do with the fact that in the real world we have packet loss and is impractical to kick when a single playerhit packet doesn't show up.

Also you will get kicked eventually but it takes a lot of debuff hits to do so.
Alright, thanks for clearing that up. I'll mess around with my proxy a bit and see if I can't get it to work.
heard about this hack, i always dc when the artifacts build up on geb :c
It works fine alright only issues are that in certain situations it can be very obvious that you are using a client, also yeah too many hits neutralized will cause you to disconnect.
