LAN KrazyServer

Hello guys, so today I tried to make the KrazyServer work on my local area connection, to play with my sister, but I failed, I tried a lot but I still don't understand what's missing, I edited the client to connect to 192.168.1.1 (I think that's the router IP), I tried the IP from whatismyip.com but still nothing, I made sure that the ip in the client is the ip in list.cs, I made sure that the client is on both computers, I tried making a homegroup but I don't even know if it will help, just used it to share clients faster... So what you think I should do to make the server on router not on my computer only?

EDIT: I ported the ip I got from whatismyip.com with ports 2050, then tried 8888, then tried ip 192.168.1.1, I tried a lot of stuff but I still need your help.

Try 127.0.0.1 ... if you sister is connected to the same internet connection as you.

127.0.0.1 connects to my computer only... She's connected to the same router as me, I tried forwarding ports to that local ip, but nothing ever works, and RaymondW I am requesting help about the private server itself, so I posted in Private Servers board.

edit the client to connect to your IP you are using to connected with the router
or connect the pc's directly or try hamachi lol

My router IP is 192.168.1.1, I tried that too, and tried (which I think doesn't help) forwarding both ports to the ip, but still doesn't work

EDIT: Hamachi would lag the shit out of me, I'm using 50kb/s connection, would be very bad to host a server and also play on it with two computers using one internet connection (25kb/s for each)

the IP you are using to connect to the router (should be 192.168.1.2 or higher)
in other words your network address

Disable Firewall. Thats what i had to do.

open cmd and type "ipconfig" then enter. it will show your ip. find the ip that starts with 192.168.1 , that is your router ip. change the ip to that and try to connect.

How do you edit the client like you said to connect to a certain IP?
I just figured out about private servers and I wanna have a lil' fun with my bro. :P

I wrote a simple script for checking the IP address of the host server. Run it on the Host after starting KrazyServer. An IP Address Will Be Displayed, copy it and paste that into the client, replacing 127.0.0.1
