Try all the screen resolutions and one of them should fit.

nope i tryed all of them i think its cuz my laptop is 2 years old and i tryed all of them it just says it's not compatible

Re installing won't do anything to fix his scree neither will updating his card.

yea i have all ready tryed that too im not dumm and my card is up to date and my bro uses it his laptop and has widescreen but i just cant get it on mine
