[solved]Different between win32 and win64
Hi all

I want to learn about windows programming, but my teaching book use win32 API.

So,I 'm afraid there is big different between old and new winAPI version.

Is it correct to use the book?

The system API for Windows does not change often. You can also reference [almost] all the API online on MSDN:

In the new Windows operation systems there is 2 architectures (or what ever) win32 and win64, so dont worry about it, as long as you're in the newest versions of microsoft's operating system, you'l do things normally, i mean every function on winapi 32 has its equivalent for win64 architecture
