well i understand you want a L85A1 mod with a scope that doesn't have that bar coming out from bottom to the middle? if so, i'm done. its not perfect, at the very bottom edge of the scope you can see a shadow of the bar that used to be, but it shouldn't mess with your gameplay as you'll be focused at the center of your scope.
there are 2 problems here though... 1. i no longer own a L85A1 MOD, my 5th anniversary hotshot L85 expired yesterday. so i cannot test or screenshot. i can, however, give it to you via PM and there you can try it out, take some screenshots for me, then i can release it officially on the website with the screenshots n everything.
EDIT: and a question to GMs - would you allow me to release .DTX files instead of .rez? i will include a simple, easy to follow instructions how to use the DTX in each post to help out those who need help with the format. my sole purpose for doing this is to allow flexibility on mods. b/c if someone has a mod that they like, and then see my mod, and want to use it too, all they'd have to do is inject my DTX into their already existing modded rez, just building on top of their mod repository. rather than choosing between a modded gun or a modded scope, they can have BOTH of em. its just an idea, perhaps its been brought up before
EDIT 2: as for replacing all scopes for the scope i just modded, you can do it, but be advised only the visual looks of the scopes will be modded, not the zoom level. if you put a L96 scope skin on a acog, the zoom level will still be that of an acog.
