DotA 2

I can play it now and hopefully my laptop can run it...
You guys wanna add me and give me some tips to play? I only played LoL and HoN and i suck at it. I die like 6 times, get like 1-3 hero kills and 4 assists. I am a noob and admit it. Is it similar to them?
Also what is the best range champion/hero?

Need your help here @Wyo @Royce you guys are the most experienced ones in my Steam friendslist.

I'm in the same boat, i suck butt at LoL and DOTA 2 and i really want to get into it.

Dota 2 is the same as LOL, i played it once and regret i paid 39.99$ for it, LoL is better and free, but i dont know about the best range

not even close to being the same, lol has a bunch of passive bullshit and leveling.
they share the same genre but have big differences.

if you played a lot of hon then you'll get used to dota quickly since hon is pretty much a copy paste of dota, they swaped the names of the heroes, spells and tweaks to what the spells do, but they are still quite similar.

Protip: don't use drow ranger
basically the heros are like this: carry / support / other
you want to learn the types of heros first so pick a carry (like drow ranger or viper) and try that
then once you get the feel of that try a support
then try the other types
i play dota like 24/7 so if you want to join up

If you do bad in lol and hon you will get shit on so hard in dota2. Also WTF happened to my dota 2 gifts? I had like 10 did they take them away? Because they don't show in my gifts now I only have a gun and some black thing for dota 2. Was going to do a give away.

Pro tip: Play League of Legends with me.
I dunno much bout Dota, though I have it.
I am pretty good at LoL.

When I get home next week I'll be your master

I don't know what you finded in those games like LoL and Dota 2... Atleast I don't like them. But still... good luck at Dota 2 =) Got it in steam, but never played it.

If you sucked at LoL of all things, you're gonna have a bad time in Dota2
