Jungle Akali?
Is it any good to jungle with Akali? I've tried her mid and I wreck but I'm going to be the ranked team's jungler so I was wondering if it worked for any of you. Thanks.

I would recommend
Runes: ASpeed or Hybrid Pen Marks/Armor Yellows/Scaling or flat mr blues and Ap/movement speed quints
Playing 21/9/0 9 in def to stay longer in jungle and take less dmg from minions, u can try 9/21/0 as well u wont be deadly as 21/9, u can try 11/19/0 on her i was playin khazix this way before nerfs and he was pretty good then.
Starting with standart machete+pots
I think akali would be great as hard counter jungler cuz of her ability to duel, u can try to pick her as a counter to some supportive jungler.
IMO akali won't be good pick to jungle with, if u like assasin style jungler i recommend evelynn
You would need to buy spellvamp runes and maxing your e first. It is not ideal, cause you can get counter-jungled easily pre-6. If you ever want to try, you should start red first and focus on farming from level 1 to 6. Then, you can gank 3 lanes.

What you could try if you want an unexpected jungler:
Zyra
If you invite the whole team you'll be ensured to first pick(of your team, might be second pick of the game) and you can go and grab zyra jungle.
IF you're the second pick of the game let the one that's together with you pick a support. They will expect you to go zyra mid and counter that.
Later on use that in your advantage and counter pick (They counter zyra which is mostly not their best champion but they pick it so they "counter" if your team grabs something that's not weak against that mid laner you're almost gauranteed to win mid lane)
Why would zyra be a viable jungler?
She's not the strongest ganker because she doesn't have gap closers but:
If you run movementspeed quints your ganks still can be extremely strong.
Zyra has a strong team fight ult just like sejuani or amumu (only requires a little moment to "charge")
Starting blue with a (preferably) smiteless pull, you'll be level 2 and have your plants and walk right to red (which is normally in jungling these days) and there you have your 2 plants ready to start and help you big time with red.
Currently still working to improve on zyra jungle, but I like picking her when I'm first pick soloQ.
P.S Your rooting grasps is what keeps your ganking great even though you don't have a gap closer.

I've tried this before, worked somewhat well. Max Q and farm the jungle, gank with red and when lanes are pushed and no other time besides post-6.
