Need help with program

Hello, I am making a program that allows me to shut my laptop off by sending something like "laptop off" to my gmail from my phone. Does anyone know how to do this? I'm willing to pay money if u can help me.

Just make an email monitor that pulls your emails from GMail and looks for an email from a specific sender with the given subject you mentioned "laptop off".

Here's an old library on Microsoft for doing it:

Although it might not work now. (Written in C#, but you should be able to convert it to VB.NET easily.)
