Get Captcha from Website
unlike @wut12345 I'll post something people (leechers specifically) will actually use.

Add "Microsoft.HTML Object Library" as a reference

First you need to declare your reference
Code:
Imports mshtml
Now create a webbrowser then direct it to a capche sign up page
Code:
WebBrowser1.Navigate("https://accounts.google.com/SignUp?continue=https%3A%2F%2Fencrypted.google.com%2F&hl=en")
Now this is what's going to grab the captcha and then save it.
Code:
Private Sub WebBrowser1_DocumentCompleted(sender As Object, e As WebBrowserDocumentCompletedEventArgs) Handles WebBrowser1.DocumentCompleted
  Dim CD As IHTMLDocument2 = WebBrowser1.Document.DomDocument
  Dim Images As IHTMLControlRange = CType(CD.body, HTMLBody).createControlRange
For Each imgs As IHTMLImgElement In CD.images
    If imgs.GetAttribute("src").ToString.Contains("recaptcha") Then
    Images.add(imgs)
    Images.execCommand("Copy", False, Nothing)
    PictureBox1.Image = Clipboard.GetDataObject.GetData(DataFormats.Bitmap)
    Exit For
    End If
  Next
    End Sub
(Using Clipboard to hold it with)

This method should work with pretty much anything.
hmm, you shouldve posted this 3 weeks ago when i needed it....
