I'm not getting any notifications even when someone quotes me and/or replies to me. What should I do to fix it?

Try to use google chrome or if you using google chrome use firefox then.

You might have disabled alerts.

Go to Settings -> User Tagging -> Settings and disable "Hide X Alerts"

I'm using ie8 so that might be the problem, lol. I'll try chrome later

it's already disabled.

Settings -> General Settings -> User Tagging.
