Infraction Points?

Hi MPGH. I was just wondering if anyone could explain the Infraction Point system that this site has? Like what does it mean? I know an infraction is caused by something you did against the rules but how can you read about why you got the infraction? Is it sent to you via email of the reason or no?

You can find the reason and the amount of infractions (+ expiry date) in your settings.

when you receive an infraction you get a PM including the reason and the expiration date
