In photoshop cs3 when i click the text button then type something it does'nt shows up on the layer even i change the color of the text to white , yellow blue etc.
1. make sure it's the top most layer
2. make sure the picture is color restricted
3. does it work on any other pictures?
4. there's a section for photoshop help
5. did you click and drag a box to open space for the text?

could be glitched. Save your project and restart photoshop. Then reopen and retry?

Still not working.

Could be the project itself. Try merging it down into one layer. Starting a new one, and merging the flattened image over? then do some text?
Sounds like the color of the text or the blend is wrong, you have a smaller than visible size or you have just an active layer above blocking your visible image.
I see you are working with animation, try it in another project and see if it works, if it doesn't, you've done something wrong with your gif.
