CoD Vac Bans? LOL
so i was recently VAC banned on mw2 after having my account hijacked, but the funny thing is... that cod servers dont seem to have vac on them, and i can still play fully without any disconnections.

i can also still play on every game that runs vac on its servers. GG?

Being banned on MW2, means you are only banned on MW2, no other games.

im aware, but in this case, being banned on MW2 doesn't seem to mean im banned on MW2.

After you run mw2 multiplayer, game doesn't say you that you were hacking?

Not really, i got VAC'd 2 years ago while i had installed source games and i'm banned on them too

Edit: Gonna download&install it again and see if it works.

Edit2: I see that they changed it so you can open the game and search for a match, but when i join to the game, after a few seconds server kicks me for "cheat detected"

Not really, i got VAC'd 2 years ago while i had installed source games and i'm banned on them too

Edit: Gonna download&install it again and see if it works.

Edit2: I see that they changed it so you can open the game and search for a match, but when i join to the game, after a few seconds server kicks me for "cheat detected"

"Excluding the games listed above, VAC bans will only apply to the game the cheat was detected in. For example, a VAC ban in Modern Warfare 2 will not affect Modern Warfare 3."
Meaning that a ban in mw2 will ONLY affect mw2

This will be cool but unfortunately i got VAC'd on source games too :/
Back in 2009/2010 I think when somebody got banned, they banned everygame that is turned in VAC.

If that is true they would remove the bans on the games they did not cheat on.
