To get Donator do you have to donate $25 at the one time or can you donate $10 then $15 later on and still get the tag?
Just donate it all at once...
Much easier than trying to get Dave or Liz to keep track over random donations made X amount of days/weeks ago.

OP can just keep the transaction ID of the first payment ..
When OP will pay the second payment, he can post in the donation thread the transaction of the first payment ..
