How do i host a tf2 server?

Hey how do i host a TF2 server that can be played by everyone like the hosting on MW2/MW3? Do i need to have a tool if not then what do i have to use? Thanks!

There is a couple of ways to host a tf2 server, one of them would be clicking the "+" in Game Menu.
The other ways is to install custom server software such as sourcemod ( SourceMod: Half-Life 2 Scripting )
or you could use "Source Dedicated Server" it's like the 1st option but without "drawing" the game.

You could host a server inside TF2 itself by clicking the plus symbol in the main menu. alternatively, you could host a server off a dedicated windows or linux server for better performance.
