A Tutorial: How to script in Gmod

Since we didn't have enough of these.

To all you retards.

THIS WORKS.

I use ellekim00™'s injector, Google it to find it.

If you try to use Winject or gInject, You'll get banned. No matter what.

And I haven't been banned. I have been using wuat's gmodpickles and not been banned.

Alright so. Lets say you want to use MApex

You take the addons and cfg folder in the mApex zip and place them in common/garrysmod/garrysmod

Then, You open the injector, Wait, now type in this box:



hl2

WITHOUT EXE.

Then, Go down to Injections, and click browse:



Then, you come up with the general windows select file box, Find gmodpickles.dll, And then click Okay

Then, You'll see a bar in the box in the picture above named gmodpickles

Then, Depending if you have auto-inject or Manual-Inject, click Inject

If Auto-Inject:

Once GMod is open, It will auto inject and you have nothing to worry about.

If Manual-Inject:

Just click inject when GMod is open in the main menu.

Close when finished:

Self Explanatory.

Now, Go into the main menu of GMod, And open your console.

Sometimes, It won't open by itself, so click Options, Then open your console.

Here's your console:



Now bind this:

sv_allowcslua 1; lua_runscript_cl luascript.lua; sv_allowcslua 0

To any key, for this example I am binding it to P

Now, we type in console this exact line:

bind p "sv_allowcslua 1; lua_openscript_cl autorun/client/mApex.lua; sv_allowcslua 0

One quotation mark does the job, Since its made to contain the command that is run by the bind.

Now, if you can't run mApex if you just put it in addon, Take the LUA Folder out of the mApex addon folder and drag it into Garrysmod/garrysmod.

Now, Once we have binded that to P, we join a server of choice, press the key, and mApex is loaded!



You can do this with any LUA Hack!
