Im trying to get this Payday 2 to work but the problem is i have not downloaded the game from Steam, but from a link which means it is not a legit game.
So i can not use the Lua because the game isn't installed via steam, so how can i get it to work then?

To get rid of the level 30 cap, go to the Lua folder, open "ExperienceManager.lua" with notepad
Look for this line of code:
change the 30 to 100. (You can use any number theoretically)
Cheating money is easy with CheatEngine since it doesn't work here, just do the safehouse mission/any mission, look for a float value "11000" , select all that haven't changed and don't have decimal values, and change their values to 5555555555

This hook is pretty crashy, I can't browse several attachment categories or customize masks or else I crash. Removing the
hook doesn't allow me to use my save and forces me to create a new one. Plus I get a lot of crashes ingame.
This hook is probably not updated for the full game, which explains the level 30 cap, and I don't see non-beta missions in crime net.

I cant change my mask or unlock any skills and weapons are locked how to fix?

Here's how I did it.
Downloaded ORIGINAL hook.
Modified script.lua with whatever I wanted to do.
went into my lua folder and deleted everything after the C's.
Loaded up the game, modified everything i wanted to, (money, masks, money, loot items, and level)
Finally, move/delete everything you put in the payday 2 folder except for the dll
Shouldnt delete your progress and you can skill, and the game doesnt crash.
