Has anyone ever considered this?
Imagine you make a Minecraft server and Add a custom Login (Like on cracked servers) plugin chances are some users will use the same password to log into the server as they do on Minecraft.
It's the simplest and most sure-fire way to get LOTS of MC accounts but there is one flaw which I will post now :
-They may not use the same password.
Even if they don't most of the people will.
Plus there's no work for you to do at all.
Well that about it just thought I'd share this method I have cracked 75+ account with this over a 1 day period pretty good considering you dont have to worry about Crackers, Proxies, Pass lists etc.
Thanks,

I think you're talking about the register password/login on those type of survival servers or whatnot

Yeah but it could lead to some awesome potential if used to perfection.
Like I have a server that gets 10 unique people daily then I have almost an endless supply of accounts.

such a badass idea man! though i currently, dont have the time to host and start up a big server like that. i ran a private server once, but all those plugins and permissions to handle were really headachy

do you think you can upload your entire server setup so i dont have to go through all the plugin setup?

A custom login huh? Haven't come across that before, does sound kind of interesting actually, but how exactly does that work?
And yeah of course some people will use the same password, since most people only have like 1 password they use for everything, not the best way to go, but some does.. x]

do you think you can direct us to a plugin that uses "/register" and /password" and saves all data in a text file as username

assword? that'd be super awesome

What you wanna do is use AuthMe Reloaded (adds /register) and CCLogger (logs all commands by players, look in the CCLogger folder in the plugins folder afterwards to see their commands).

I can't remember if this guy was told the method by me, but I certainly did tell some random guy my alt accounts method about three days ago. If he's that guy then I'm glad it worked for him so well

Haha not quite the same guy but I'm glad some of you guys are brainstorming about the potential could turn into a really good trick

.

Can you PM me one account my pc can't host a big server!

Can someone send me one account ?

I believe this would technically be considered "malicious," due to it stealing something of theirs without them knowing, although I can't really explain how it'd go about getting you in trouble.

Because I know having a plugin that checks their .jars is against the law, but not sure about one that would save their passwords like you're thinking.

I might just be thinking way off on this, but I don't know. If you go through with trying this, then let us know how it goes.
