Forum bugs & temporary fixes.

As you can already tell, MPGH is currently semi-broken as we just recently transitioned from an outdated version of vBulletin to the latest version. If you haven't noticed, there are many things that are missing or are not working, because the plugins that handle these have not been re-installed yet. This could either be because they're incompatible or will be installed soon.

Just be patient and it will eventually be fixed. When we transitioned from vBulletin 3 to vBulletin 4, it was much worse because many plugins were incompatible and it took time until we found alternatives to substitute the old ones. This transition is a lot more smaller.

Please refrain from creating further threads about this.

Bug List:

You can no longer see which sections your posts are in
You can no longer thank posts
All visitor messages display "0 Thanks"
Thanks disappears after editing a post or thread.

Temporary Fixes:

- None, URL Redirection bug fixed -

Hopefully we can cut down on these damn threads now.

It's just you. Make sure you have your profile picture set (your avatar is separate from that one).

You gotta ask Dave about that one, that was disabled because it was lagging the website/server. Not sure why though, I think it was a caching problem, meaning the server tried to query the entire user database for staff members each time the page was loaded.

Probably to do with the fact that posting is disabled in the Support section and only permitted in the sub-sections. Not sure if that is plugin related or not.
