paypals a rip off!

i tried linking a 25 dollar gift card to paypal but its a peice of shet i dont even know if i still have the 25 dollars in it......... they keep asking for a paypal code witch comes in ur card statment but i have a fucken gift card! iv contacted paypal several times they wont contact me back

anyone know how to confirm linking gift card to paypal?

There will be a website on your paypal gift card, go to it and see the satement.

When you buy things you can choose to use your pre-paid card that is linked to your paypal account.

finally got it but wen i try to buy something it says

We were unable to verify your credit or debit card. To proceed with your purchase, please select a different payment method or add a different credit or debit card, then click Continue.

and then it says:

You cannot use this credit card for this transaction. Please use another funding source.

* You will need to add and confirm your bank account. Once your bank account has been added and confirmed, you can continue this payment. Add your bank account information below.

theres a problem with confirming the bank account my pareents wont let me put there bank acc number in so im not allowed to now wat am i suposed to do?
