Auto-Pilot?
Hello, I've asked this elsewhere, but didn't receive any helpful answers.

I was wondering if it was possible to take the TF_Bots' coding (the bots that you play against in offline practice) and make it into a program that automates moving, aiming and shooting realistically. I ask because I would like to make such a program to use - it'd be interesting to see how the bots would fare online.

If it's possible, and it's not too difficult, I would be very willing to learn and make the program myself. Thanks for reading.
It is possible...however I don`t know how would you hide that huge ass program from valve anti-cheat...
It'd be interesting to try, though. It's the sort of thing I'd make an F2P alt for, just to see what happens.
If you have to ask here you won't be able to create such thing.
Thanks.

Would anyone like to help me with this?

Try the programming forum. Not guaranteed anyone will help you, but you can learn stuff like c++ by yourself.
Thank you, I will check that out.
I still have no clue what I'm doing, but perhaps I'll be able to explain it a little better... What I would like is a program that replaces player input during matches with a TF_Bot that, I would guess, sends automated key presses and mouse movements to the server. I've been told it's possible, it's just a case of figuring out what the hell I'm doing.
Have another computer?

I could make something like this, but you'd need a 2nd account & a 2nd computer. If I had completed the program the tutorial would look something like this:
Step 1. Open TF2
Step 2. Open TF2 on your 2nd computer with your 2nd Steam account.
Step 3. Open "Human Bot Autopilot" (the program I'd make)
Step 4. Connect both accounts to a server (works best if it's just you and your other account)
NOTE: Map must be ctf_2fort
Step 5. On the 2nd computer, select a class, don't move the character.
Step 6. Press "Begin Autopilot"
Step 7. Alt+Tab back to TF2 and leave the 2nd computer.
Step 8. Return to your main computer, and go to the bridge.
Step 9. The Autopiloted bot will go to the bridge, stay there for 10 seconds, then suicide (you have 10 seconds to kill the bot). The process will be repeated until you turn Autopilot off.

Let me know if you'd like to see this made. I don't, however, have much time on my hands at the moment, so it might be a while until it's released.
The steps above aren't final, I'll probably make a few changes & add a few features.

EDIT: I'm still relatively new to programming these sorts of things, so there isn't guaranteed success.
Best bot that you an have is a brother or sister.
That's quite different to what I'd wanted, as I'd rather just have a program that just emulates the bots. :P

That's a relief, it would've taken forever to make the other bot.
Thank you for your help in any case
