Process Suspender

Ok, so I know I'm no real hacker but I've become obsessed with the idea of hacking Vindictus and thought that I might be able to find something we were overlooking or just missed. I don't have any knowledge on how the hacks (more specifically console hacks) work but I have a question. (so don't be too harsh on me because I admit I'm a noob)

Anyways! I was tinkering with vindictus and thought that I could freeze the process and then replace some of the files (hfs) without it noticing and then resuming the process (Vindictus.exe). Of course it didn't work it just said that the file was open in another program...blah..blah..blah. HOWEVER! It did manage to freeze vindictus for a good period of time. I'm wanting to know if this could aid in the injection of lets say a console/dll hack. So your thoughts on this would be appreciated!

Ooh and by the way this is able to be used while in game but if the server detects a delay for too long it crashes. (I assume injection doesn't need much time anyways).

Usually it will detect the program that froze it as hack and close the game anyways

That's the thing though. I've been testing it and its not detecting it as a hack. Only if you use it stupidly like mid-game with other people in your party. I also have been unlocking game files and replacing them while running which has created some interesting results. (That crashes most the time) Still I think I'm beginning to understand how the game works a little better. Once i find what causes it to crash I can just delete it, and while playing then replace hfs files xD

But your the professional Nico not me so some constructive advice would be nice

Yah...real funny. I was thinking more along the lines of deleting, I don't know HACKSHIELD!!! I might post a video showing what I'm attempting so you'll understand better but I don't think mocking me just because you already know how to hack and/or already have a private hack is going to help me in any way. I'm sorry I was under the impression that someone as experienced as you would give better advice so if you really are so good then could you quit the bullshit and release a hack? because your not really contributing much.

No need to so angry. Relax. Those who have private hacks won't be releasing them for obvious reasons. It's gotten to the point where nexon know shit's up with ninja patches. Thus, having something released for more than 30 min isn't really viable. Don't quote me on this but, if your goal is only to swap out hfs files, why not freeze Vindictus several seconds after it loaded. Once it's done checking all the files, then swap. Don't think there is a need to have it frozen for too long. Unless it checks all the hfs files periodically... That'd explain the shit for performance I'm gettin with these bullshit patches lately.

Funny thing, I have been freezing the SHIT out of vindictus/hshield for half a day today. The wifi at the place I'm at is so bad, takes about 5 minutes to log in, 10~ to launch the game to log-in screen.

I was serious though, it crashes because Vindictus has a file handle opened and if you replace the file it used to have a handle to, the game crashes cause it can't access the original file anymore. You'd have to make the game reload the file.

I aleready tryed,i managed to suspend and swap the files but after i get in game the client gives me an error.So dont bother with this metod..it wont work sadly.
