US Game on EU PS system?

will that work cause i want to pre-order gran turismo 6 at gamestop cause then u get more specials
but i live in the netherlands so i dunno if it works with EU ps3 system

As far as I know, the PS3 is not region locked. I live in the US and and play European games on a US console without issues

you can play the EU version of the game. the only problem is, that you need to have a EU psn account with euros to buy things from the store.

SO basically yes you can

There are certain games that are region locked. Check to make sure that GT isn't region locked through Google.

US games are classified as BLUS while EU games are classified as BLES as far as I remember? So therefore, if you are attempting to run a BLUS coded game (US) onto an EU PS3, it will not run and will give you a region lock error.

Therefore, I would just bail on the extra add-ons and just purchase it in the Netherlands.
