A letter
I don't know where to begin, writing this letter you.
Every day, looking in the mirror I see you staring back at me with those eyes. I was told that somewhere behind that blanc glance there used to be warmth, but as I reached for it the warmth was long gone. You were lost in a delirium and I was searching for something that couldn't be found.
Rejection turned the blanc into desperation. Depression. Madness. The source of my many nightmares.
Darkness had you, and finally you went away leaving nothing but shame.
This is the sick in my blood.
You brought another weak mind to a life of suffering and I will forever carry your pain on my shoulders.
I will forever see that blanc glance in the mirror, I'll bring this curse to my grave.
Dad.
Will you show me that warmth as I meet you on the other side?
