That ooooooooone guy.

I have this friend, decent guy, but he kinda sucks at video games.

So i'm playing FFXIV, killing garuda. a "hard" boss, but do-able if you have the gear.

This guy doesn't, and its not that just that.

He doesn't have any gear.
He doesn't know the fight.
He doesn't even fucking care.

But he wants to join our party as we do this raid.

Fuck. So we have to spend hours wiping cus of this dumbass.

May I ask on what server do you play and ur lvl?

My brother playing in European server he is like lvl33 tanker.

Tell him to fuck off and get better gear. Just be honest about it.

Used to be in a similar situation. told him to get better at the game [politely]. Now all he does is play BO1 zombies. Don't do the same to your friend

Wellp here's an update:

So we ditch that guy now.( we don't party with him at all).

Another friend of mine, good guy, but.......fuck.

Playing garuda, we wipe like 4 times.

Its ok, i'm not exactly cool with how we wiped, but it happens.

Then we get it, great run, dps does their job, tanks their, healers........well this is where it comes in.

He Disconnects..............with like 2 minutes left. A 15-20 minute fight mind you with all its twist and turns......and he dc's.

So i get upset. I don't blame him but everyone keeps insisting that "i can't blame him".

Of course I don't fucking blame him. Its not his fault his internet gave out or w/e.(even though technically not having T1 is his fault, but i'm not that much of an asshole to do that).

But man, I'm just mad. Wiped 20+ times on this boss(over all), finally got a decent group and he DC's.

:/ There are a few people you can do without in a raid, 1 out of 2 healers is not one of them.

So we wipe, I quit, and here I am. Having such a good fucking day and someone's shit internet pisses me off. *sigh*.

My friends probably think i rage quit or some shit, no. I'm just not gonna let some shitty ass connection ruin my night.
