Ok this is a topic to all the fucking stupid people in this world that think legalization will be better than decriminalization. First off half the fucking morons don't even know the difference they just here the word "Legal" and think "O yay so awesome its legal" Well FUCK YOU.
The legalization of marijuana would most likely involve...
- More government taxes. The tax implication on the legalization of marijuana would probably be as strict or stricter than the tax on tobacco cigarettes.
- Age restrictions would be placed on buying and smoking legalized marijuana similar to those on cigarettes (or alcohol).
Decriminalization, on the other hand is perhaps preferred over the legalization of marijuana. If marijuana were decriminalized then it would be considered a herb and not a drug, much like parsley, sage, marjoram, and oregano.
Yes while it is also true that fines maybe applied if caught with a large amount under decriminalization I would rather have it so if i were say 13 i would be able to walk around smoking a joint while on the other hand it it were "legal" per say i would deffinetly pay a fine and face the same charges as say underage drinking.

wait, whats your argument, for or against legalization?
cus you put that there would be age limit: which would be good, but also pointless as most ppl can just get someone else to buy it.(but more of a fine as opposed to jail time)
Taxes: yeah that won't drive the price sky-high, since the original price of illegal drugs is so much higher anyway. Plus mass production= lower prices.

Not to mention the way lower THC rates in the strains. And i am all for decriminalization
