Charge Back

I've been thinking of charge backing on my account that got scammed. If I charge back, will I get my money? Because my friend said he filed a dispute but didn't get his money back. But I see people on this section saying they got their money back. So will I get my money?

I know for a fact that you have to have a valid reason for a chargeback otherwise they wont give your cheddar back to you..

What is an example of a "Valid Reason"

Well example on my case was ugc codes purchased from I dont know where site, ahem major company. I told paypal I was charging back because the codes didnt work. And I stuck to that story. I also showed them proof that the codes were not accepted. jpeg photos showing the codes were wrong. It took a while, maybe 3 weeks but I got my money back..

You'll get your money.

Just chargeback and when they ask for the reason say it was an unauthorized transaction.

You will get it, you just have to keep bugging them about it.

Its not 100% that you will have back your money , you might lose the dispute.
