On topic: Some people really like it, others will hate it, I played gw2 before I played wow, I think because of that I was a bit disappointed in the different game style, in wow you pretty much cast everything with like 20 buttons.

Don't do it unless you like being a casual raider lol. The games not what it used to be. Better off playing the new final fantasy MMO in my opinion.

I enjoyed wow for a good couple of years with my mates the more it updates the less i like it, new players will love it older players not so much
It was a waste of money even in its prime.
Played it for about an hour was bored out of my mind, then again I was just a noob at like lvl 7 so I can't really judge the game.

WoW is pretty fun, Retail sucks dick. Join a private server, that raids... A lot. dispersion-wow.
With friends it's a shit ton of fun, but by yourself it's the most boring fucking thing you can do. So if you plant on playing with friends then sure buy it if not then mehhhh.
