Question on HWID

So. I have been HWID Banned. I wanted to play the game, so I used the bypasser. However, I want to buy SC, through steam. If I have another hard drive can I install it on there to bypass the ban? Or will I have to put windows and boot from that drive? Or just get a new computer?

It's not just the hard drive.
I believe the HWID also detects your GPU, Motherboard, etc.
