Double check that you don't have a space anywhere. For example: C:\Users\my name\Desktop\17.3_Mod_Selector. Notice how "my name" has a space. You'd have to change your username to something without a space.
If you do notice a space and fix it, delete both .abc files and the client-1 folder if you see it and try again.

though it has worked on other builds and i havent changed my username wierd right? XDiam a mac user can someone pls upload a hacked client 17.3.0 for me ?

well i skimmed the post when and i didnt see the how to thing or instructions lol, so i just went on and clicked the client and it showed that black loading screen xD i read the whole post this time and saw it hehe
