Launcher isn't launching?!

so , i just got my server running and all that and i just got the client to launch the game downloaded ( Im useing Keinet Minecraft launcher)

When i rename the .exe to launcher.jar it doesn't work and i did this for my laptop and it worked perfectly

Any suggestions, Need quick feedback , i have to leave for work in 30 mins Thanks.

P.S - Im useing Keinet to get'rd of that Demo bullcrap

Java is installed

1) im currently running a 64 bit java
2) i placed the installing path in my programfiles (x86) folder

Also i don't have a java in my Regular ProgramFiles folder

Well i managed to get the launcher to work, but i downloaded java again useing "download recommended" at the main page, and well it deleted my other one

Now i can't go more than 1gb of ram on my own server >.<?

1. Did it download the right version?
2. Why can't you use more than 1gb?
3. There you can edit your java path and ram usage for the game

I've managed to get everything working , but for some reason java keeps makeing me download 32bit and it's really annoying -.-

From what i've been reading you need java 64 bit , to be able to implement more than 1GB of ram to ur Server, or client

If this is resolved, req close.

What do you mean ?
When you try to run it, it doesn't start ?
If so , you've to make a RUN.bat file.

Go to an text editor and type this in it : java -jar ******.jar
(*****.jar means the nae of your launcher)
After that save it as : ***.bat
(*** name you cna chose)
Run the bat file and it should work.
