With all due respect , aside from the 6GB check and the 64-bit OS , the game can be ran on a significantly lower spec-ed PC. I.E GTX 560 Gainward 1GB , CPU i3 , and the said 6 GB of RAM. I have to say , when I saw this running on High , on these specs I was pretty sure my rig could pulverize it. The bar is high , but the wants from the game itself are not that much. I play it on - GTX 690 SLI Gainward , i7-4960x , 32 RAM and all SSD - 2 TB.

I thought about buying COD Ghosts, but what's worrying me is that the game checks if you have the minimum requirements or not,
I know that there's a ramfix, so no problem on ram, but System Requirements Lab said that my CPU is too weak: i7 3517U @1.90GHz , however I checked for COD: BO2 too, it said my CPU was too weak too, but I could play it with no problems.
So does COD: Ghosts check your whole spec or only if you have enough ram?
My Spec:
CPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3517U @ 1.90 GHz
Memory: 4.00 GB RAM
Current Resolution: 1366 x 768, 60Hz
Driver Version: 331.65
OS: Windows 8 64 bit
It's a laptop, but I played COD: MW2, COD:BO, COD: BO2 with it on normal settings with no lag.

Yup, you should be good to go
. CPU clock speed means barely anything. It's just how fast everything is processed. With games, the CPU doesn't do as much work because your graphics card handles the graphical intensities. I have a GT540M and i7 3630QM (6Go RAM), and I can play BO2 in High settings, but Ghosts are lagging so much... I think this game isn't really optimized, I saw a video which the player is lagging with 2x Titan, which is absolutely insane !

They should add a future to use the old textures or graphics. By that I mean not to use the new textures and the old ones like Black Ops 2. I was able to run that game on all high and now I play cod ghosts and I am Low and Medium.

Hey guys, in the Todays 3.3 Patch the 6gb ram thing was fixed, Idk how much you need now, but its less than 6 GB.
