Experiencing a Really Annoying Error
I don't really know where to put this, so I'll just post it here. Move it if you need to, but I didn't really think it belonged in the "Programming" section.
Anyways, I've been trying to install the XBoxStat program for a wired 360 controller on my new install of Windows, and every time I start it up I get the error:
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."
I did a lot of looking around, but I couldn't find a single fix to this. The funny thing is, when I do a system restore to the first restore point on my computer, and then I install/run it, it runs fine. I couldn't just do that though, because that was somehow before I set my user account up and none of the programs I had installed counted as being installed, it raised a lot of issues.
What do you think the problem could possibly be? I'll post an XML read-out of the entire error from my event viewer:
