R.I.P. FourDeltaOne

Yep, that's it.. sadly FourDeltaOne has been shut down permanently, as you probably know, because of legal issues with Activision. Their website is now down, but if their website is still up for you, then just wait until your DNS thingy updates.

Also you cannot play T6M again, the game won't even open nor pop up anything. I haven't tested with the other projects, but they won't most likely work. Although, you can still play MW3 with TeknoMW3 and BO with NemexisOps, and soon MW2 with NemexisMW2.

Anyways, below you can see a print from a post on alterIWNet's German facebook page, confirming that NTAuthority shut down FourDeltaOne.

'lovely' is NTAuthority at their IRC.

A huge thanks for iApiqh for informing me about this.
Sorry for this small topic, I just wanted to keep you informed about what happened.

It was fun while it lasted,

I know how you guys are feeling.. playing on fourdeltaone would never be the same with some other project.. but this isn't about how we think that things should happen, but facing the reality. I don't believe that Activision wanted to stop IW4m or IW5m, but.. you know. :[

It's a shame that it's closed down

I find it cute that the guy that have worked on at least 4 copycat projects that shamelessly take 4D1s code and claim it as their own is the one posting about how sad it is that the project he slanders on a daily basis shuts down. Would be such a shame if there suddenly was another post linking to his new site..

FYI xVIRUZx is insanityPT/coolguy/cinnamonhole.

Has lawyer advised him to take it down. That's why he did it.

You don't really know what you are talking about... you lied hard about me in the past on your blog, and you know it. I mean, these projects weren't mine and neither released.. and as I told you, I like to do things on my own

Which game? If it is MW2, then you must wait until someone else makes Multiplayer playable again .

Well the truth is more than 90% of their users were using illegal copies of the game. So it kinda did affect Activision's business. Other than that, RIP 4D1

Well, I wasn't since I own it on Steam. Anyways, the updater provided some game files.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO 4D1 WE NEED AN ALTERNATIVE OR WE NEED IT! BACK!

How is TeknoMW3? Is it the same as 4d1? I don't think my PC can handle BO.
