Price Manipulation

Hello MPGH. I was thinking if manipulating prices in ROTMG would be possible? There are a lot of stupid people spending their time trading for profit and might be manipulated into buying a certain item. Making a group that would buy an item before for a low price, then advertising that its price would get those stupid little players to buy that item.

Please point out flaws with this idea.

PS. Before you point this out: Yes, this has been done in Runescape, where it was really successful, at least when I played it some people made lots of cash out of it.

this has been done on almost every mmorpg. but decent idea, not sure how successful it will be here

Ingame tradebots control the market

reminds me of the coral juice incident over 1 year ago.

5 day old thread that is basically useless because bots control this game....not players. Dont bump old threads pls
