They don't need proof, they just believe.

My lord and savior Jesus Meow Meow ate a poptart for my sins.
Then with his everloving grace, did he fly across the universe in a rainbow of passion.
Life would be literally pointless. Determinism or existentialism, take your pick.

It's a faith-based system.
Although there are alot of proofs in some holy books.

The world is no longer a circle. More like a snake eating its own tail.

*woosh* over your head.
Also, a snake eating it's own tail does in fact form a circle.

But these proofs require proof to be considered proof itself, simplistically speaking it isn't certain.

I'm not talking about the literal meaning of a circle but rather the implication of a natural way of life. The saying most of the time suggests that humans and animals are to co-exist, yet we are doing the exact opposite. We are if fact eating ourselves alive.
Also, finding meaning in life is really up to the individual. If one feels that merely satisfying their desires is enough of a reason or toiling day and night in the church reciting scriptures gives them fulfilment, then who is to deny them of their choice.

When the choice effects others.....
One doesn't not ask for proof of something that is a belief.. I believe in the god of panda.. are you going to question that too? Religions are what keep people in tact.
